Provincial Dialogue Workshop – Sudurpaschim

NFRJ organized an advanced workshop on conflict trasformation, stratetegic peace building on March 19-22 2022 in Bardiya, for members of Provincial Dialogue Forum of Sudurpaschim Province.

The workshop focused on history, evolution, concept and context of dialogue. It also dealt with dialogue, debate, mediation, negotiation, discussion, conversation. Further it dealt with Structural aspects of peace and conflict and also dialgue steps.

The second day of the event focused on 5P’s framework in dialogue, Dialogue and social inclusion which included understanding the importance of GEDSI analysis and ownership of dialogue process, social inclusion and social cohesion. Similarly dialogue facilitation was done on questioning (concept-practice), appreciative inquiry, their importance in dialogue. On the final day, dialogue process, role of Sambad Samuha, role of facilitators , dialogue scoping and action plan were discussed.

Overall the program was able to provide the technical support (conceptual knowledge and practicing skills) for members of Provincial Dialogue Forum of Sudurpaschim. There were 9 participants from various sectors such as journalist, writer, professor and politicians.
