Provincial Dialogue Workshop – Province 1

NFRJ organized provincial dialogue workshop on August 12-13, 2022 in Dhankuta for Province 1. On Day 1, the event was focused on providing a deeper understanding of the three tiered governance system and the role of provincial government in this system, introducing the practices of systematic analysis of Dialogue techniques and skills. and generating ideas on how PDF can play conducive role in provincial governance.

On the second day, it was focused on three layers of federal government in Nepal including its inter-governmental relations and responsibilities and jurisdictions of each government. Similarly it was also centered in reflecting the importance of dialogue/ provincial dialogue forum in provincial governance and governance reform. The program was able to provide a better understanding of the three tiered governance system and the role of provincial government in this system and generate ideas on how provincial dialogue forums can play a more conducive role in provincial governance and lastly introducing the practices of systematic analysis of Dialogue techniques and skills.

There were 24 participants from various sector such as provincial ministers, provincial assembly members, journalists, writers, professors and politicians.
