Nepal Dialogues Initiatives Meeting

Nepal Forum for Restorative Justice organized a meeting on Nepal Dialogues Initiatives on July 28, 2022 at Alfa House, Kathmandu. The meeting was focused on discussed the background of dialogue initiatives and how it came to the current phase. The team also discussed and proposed the name of Nepal Dialogues as Nepal Dialogue Initiative, and also explored the need to design the common framework of dialogue tools and techniques. The team expressed the need to regularize the meetings of NDI.

NFRJ shared a one-pager on the NDI and its broad objectives.

Overall the meeting was able to focuse in updating the practices and activities accomplished by Nepal Dialogues, preparing strategic action plan for the Nepal Dialogues, and formation of a coordination committee. There were 15 participants from various organizations working on dialogue and peacebuilding in Nepal.
