Announcement: Nepal Corrections Conclave 2024

Nepal Forum for Restorative Justice is going to organize a major initiative towards supporting Government of Nepal’s efforts towards reforming Nepal’s prisons and correctional systems. The Nepal Corrections Conclave, the first of its kind in Nepal, will be organized on 12 April 2024 and will discuss various aspects of Nepal’s correctional efforts: parole, probation, plea-bargaining, community corrections and restorative — from the past efforts to the new avenues that have opened up since the new Constitution of Nepal 2015.

The Conclave is going to be organized in a close collaboration with the Office of the Attorney-General and relevant agencies. A detailed call for participation will follow very shortly.
