Advanced Workshop on Dialogue and Conflict Transformation

Nepal Forum for Restorative Justice organized a workshop on conflict transformation, strategic peacebuilding and dialogue on 18-20 June 2022 in Chitwan district, Bagmati Province. The workshop was participated by province and district dialogue facilitators, dialogue partners and of district and provincial dialogue coordinators who came from five provinces of the country. The general objective of this workshop was to support district and provincial Dialogue Forums (which includes facilitators and members) by strengthening their capacities and understanding for dialogues through learning and practice workshops and networking opportunities. The specific objectives of this workshop were to develop an advanced understanding of conflict and strategic peacebuilding among dialogue facilitators, and to support facilitators in developing their dialogue facilitation skills. The training was well received by the participants as one of them put it \”as the best training received in my whole professional life of 13 years in the field”.
